The piece of artwork shown here belongs to one of my students. This piece went to the annual exhibit in our town hall, or annex. The show was called, Opposing Forces = Man VS Nature. The painting emulates the Dreamtime painting style of the Aboriginal community of Australia. The symbolism in this painting is based upon a lesson about the natural conservancy of the Aboriginies. The Aborigine community conserves their natural surroundings for the future generations that follow. They thank their ancesters for giving them a plentiful and clean environment. They are thankful for the reminders of the ancestral forces present everywhere, even, such as the time of day.  Western man's community has not given this much consideration to his future or the health of his environment.  His future generations will inherit the adverse effects upon our fragile biosphere.  Opposing Forces was an exhibit of paintings that reflect the differences between two communities and the conflict in the visionary speculation.

My Hubs , presently, are testimonials to my commitment to public school children that I have had the immense pleasure of learning from and teaching in an arts based curriculum format. Art reinforces every lesson!
